Tell us about this dog: Rosalind and her siblings were rescued from Mexico. Rosalind has been waiting for a family of her own for a year now.
Rosalind is a very shy girl when 1st meeting
new people. It does take her a little bit to adjust to new environments Once she does warm up and start feeling comfortable she becomes a super loving loyal gal. Rosalind is extremely intelligent and picks up on new things very quickly. Rosalind loves to play in water, run around playing with toys, and enjoys the company of calm easy going dogs.
Rosalind was attacked when she was younger by a pack of dogs. Because of it she does get anxious around hyper dog's that will jump on her and try to play rough. Because of that , we find that she prefers the company of playful dogs but more adult respectful ones.
Rosalind does wonderful with cats and kids. She is particularly drawn to kids and will be found many times just watching over them.
Rosalind does needs leash training. She is still very unsure on it and will freeze and not want to walk.
Rosalind's ideal home would be with a family willing to be patient and teach her how to relax and enjoy all that the world has to offer.
