Tell us about this dog: Mandy and her two other siblings were dumped at an elderly gentleman's driveway. He took them in until he could find a rescue to help provide veterinarian care and find them good homes.
Mandy is a shy girl at first but has a longing to be loved. When a new person approaches her she will cower down on the ground but still have her tail wagging. Once you give her some pets and reassurance that she will not be harmed she becomes a super loving and cuddly gal. Mandy loves the company of other dogs, she is great with cats, and she is very comfortable with kids around. Mandy loves toys and to roll around in a tile of blankets.
Mandy is beginning to learn how to walk on a leash she is hesitant at first, but with a little coaching she will be high stepping tail-wagging and ready to go.
Mandy's ideal family would be one that will continue to build her self confidence and enjoy all the love she has to share.
