Tell us about this dog: She was a super nervous girl when when she was brought into rescue. She had lived her whole life in a kennel. She was kept outside during storms and hot Texas heat. She was never acknowledged. She lived in a domestic violence home and when I got her the man had kicked her out along with the lady and the lady said she didn’t want her either. She was matted beyond belief.

Oreo is shy of new people when she first meets them. It takes her a little time to warm up to you but once she does she is the cuddliest most loving little girl ever . Oreo does great witH the company of other dogs and she is good with cats.

Because oreo is scared of new people and takes a little bit of time to warm up we do not recommend small children with her. They tend to make her even more nervous and it takes her a lot more time to gain confidence when she is with them.

Oreo would do best in a calm relaxed home that has other pets that she can have as companions. She needs a family that will give her time and move at her pace. She has been through so much and really needs someone to help her regain her confidence in humanity.
